Polyimide tape ,commonly known as high temperature tape and gold finger tape, is made of polyimide film coated by pressure sensitive adhesive. Polyimide tape is divided as PI silicone tape and PI acrylic tape by the type of adhesive. In general PI tape is in black and tawny colors.
Product Features
1).Heat resistant tape is a polyimide film tape with a high temperature resistant adhesive.
2).Suitable for wave soldering shield of electronic circuit board, protection of gold finger and electrical insulation, motorinsulation, and positive and negative pole of lithium battery.
3).Ideal for protecting sensitive printed circuit board (PCB) components such as gold leads and gold fingers during the process of wave soldering.
4).Also extensive use as electrical insulation for transformer, motor, coil, capacitor and frequency conversion power supply in electronic industry.
5).Maximum heat resistance: 500 ℉ (260℃)
